Jérémie Theolier holds a Ph.D. in Food Microbiology from Laval University and an engineering degree in Food Safety and Microbiology from ESIAB.

He works on the improvement of allergen, mycotoxin and fraud detection in foods and on the development of reference materials.

The Platform aims to act as an international multi-stakeholder collaborative mechanism that contributes to generate, collect and use the relevant food regulatory science information to support the formulation of food regulatory policy proposals, underpinned by a risk analysis approach. PARERA is a country adhering body to IUFost for Canada.
