A new publication in Food Control for the PARERA team

In collaboration with the CIRANO team, the PARERA platform team forgot an article on industry perceptions and knowledge of food fraud in the international scientific journal Food Control.

398 industries in Canada responded to a survey developed by the two teams from CIRANO and PARERA. Our joint work has shown that the Canadian agrifood industry has a good knowledge of what food fraud is. Only 33% of respondents feel safe from fraud. More than half answered being able to assess their vulnerability and traceability remains the most commonly used measure to prevent food fraud.
